ABOUT

"Don’t be disabled in spirit as well as physically.”

- Stephen Hawking

"The only disability in life is a bad attitude.”

- Scott Hamilton

A native of Central Massachusetts, I have been battling Rheumatoid Arthritis and its devastating effects since age 2 living most of my childhood in and out of hospitals and in and out of a wheelchair. After over 48 years and multiple joint replacements and other surgeries, I made the decision to change my “disability” into “ability” and discover the vast outdoors. Working with several area organizations that assist the disabled with adaptive sports and recreation, I have been able to sail, fly a plane, kayak, rock climb, water ski and even scuba dive.

My hope for what I do and this website is to show others with physical or other disabilities that most anything is possible if they just open themselves to new experiences and move forward with their lives.
